About us!

Rikken Custom was established in 1990 by Rikken. He has been building custom motorcycles for all of his adult life, and been interested in mechanical things and stuff since his childhood days. At the age of 6 or 7, his parents had to make an own shed to the boy at the family cabin, so he could be activated also there. At home he of course already had his own workshop. His mother tells that more often than not, she and Rikkens father had to go get him into the house late evenings - the boy simply wouldn't stop with his mechanical work in the workshop.

Rikken and his company, Rikken Custom, have participated with his motorcycles in numerous competitions over the years, and have won many prizes for his beautiful and distinctive Custom Builds. The bikes are never put together solely from prefabricated parts, the use of handmade parts guarantees that the bike will be unique. All this combined with Rikken's eye for good design and details makes his bikes really stand out! Do you have a dream about a unique and exceptional motorcycle, a bike that is only yours? Rikken Custom can help you to realize this dream! We have a lot of know-how about building extreme bikes of high quality. And if you need a smaller rebuild of your bike, or even some special made parts, we can help you! In addition to ready-made bikes, Rikken also designs his own collection of parts, including Handle Bars, and T-shirts are also available.

Rikken is an institution and a living legend among Norwegian bikers. And he admits, "Not all I've been a part of has been good", something those who know the history of the man, and the man himself can testify about. Rikken was very influential in the quite so famous / notorious motorcycle club Untouchables MC in Oslo, before the club was closed in 2000. Rikken, a genuine Oslo-boy, knows the streets of the city as his own pocket. And he has grown to become a living legend, at the age of about mid-forties. "Yes", he admits, "it's a little strange to sit in a room together with people from out of town who do not know me by sight, not knowing that "I am me", and hear stories about myself. You know, one feather will often grow into ten birds, although I very well recognize both the stories and my own role in them".

Rikken has settled in a suburb just outside the centre of Oslo with his wife, house and garden. And of course, the heart of it all is the garage and workshop where he puts together his beautiful creations. Rikkens Custom builds carry the resemblance and personality of the creator himself, tough and masculine. 417 is one of his last works, and a strange name, you might think? It is simply American police slang, the code for Brandishing Weapon, or a person who is waving with a gun. And when the starter on the bike is a gun, the name surely fits very well. Rikken considers himself to be quality-conscious, and as an example, he once jumped on his bike and drove the 500 kilometers from Trondheim to Oslo in the night's obscurity and darkness, this in anger and protest because Techno was played at a bikerparty. Integrity, and perhaps descriptive of Rikkens personality? What you don't like, you just don't give a fuck about!
